Kerem’s research, positioned at the intersection of biomedical imaging and diagnostic technologies, covers digital holographic microscopy, clinical sample analysis, and digital image processing. His work involves the development of standardized, robust quality control frameworks for digital holographic microscopy, aiming accurate and consistent clinical sample measurements. His research further investigates the aspects of digital holographic microscopy in digital image processing, which encompasses phase retrieval, holographic image reconstruction, and recognition and typing of blood cells.
